The New Consciousness Way of Dealing With Darkness

Inner peace continues to elude a rather large number of seekers despite their having invested a lot in terms of time and money experimenting with at least a couple, if not more, of the new-age techniques/therapies known to us humans today.

My own experience was that while the therapies often produced amazing results for others, nothing seemed to work for a few personal issues where I was rather desperate to ‘create’ the results that I wanted. I was obviously confused, angry and a bit frustrated because I did not know what more I should be doing. There was this knowingness too that when I should have been living in the Light, it was darkness that still surrounded me. Mind you, not in all but a few areas in life where there was a bit of emotional investment in the results!

I came across some knowledge by chance that sounded rather controversial initially. The earlier approach was to get rid of the darkness through Reiki / Crystal healing as this had served me very well in other areas in life. The recommended new way of being was to stop fighting the darkness but to accept it and in fact to stop doing Reiki for these issues. By that time, I was already rather tired of fighting the darkness and so did not have too much of a problem taking this on. After the initial hiccups I discovered much to my delight that by accepting the darkness, the burden actually felt less. Slowly but surely, tiny bits of light started appearing on areas that had been rather dark. Things started to change.

Just to share one such issue: I have had the tendency to gain weight rather too easily all my life. Getting the excess off has always been a losing battle.  I discovered that by transforming my core-beliefs of fighting this weight, being overweight stopped being an issue. Since then, the excess has been coming off rather easily and effortlessly over time. Likewise, abundance was also a big issue as it is with most spiritual seekers. No more now!

If this story is somewhat familiar, then maybe it is time for you too to stop relying on some external technique or therapy to ‘fix’ the problem but start transforming on your core-beliefs. You will then be able to create the magic yourself instead of some external energy doing it for you. I am talking here about Prayers, Positive Affirmations, Reiki etc. You too can start getting results in your dead-end areas in life.

The transformation of the existing belief system transforms the way of being of the human being. Everything in life then starts to fall in place. It might appear to be slow initially but there is a definite shift. Over time, a whole new level of synchronicity happens in everything in life.

A good place to begin this process of transformation is to identify the cycles that you are personally caught up in. This will then help in reprogramming the reactions, or rather the programmed way of dealing with the Darkness that is there in life. This is part of the core level transformation, one aspect of which is discussed in this short piece.

Performing at 100+

15 Oct, 2014

Three newspaper articles that I have been thinking of sharing for quite some time now. Really don't know what has taken me so long to put them online. Anyway, here they are:

These clippings are about people I really look up to. In the sense, I have always wondered how these guys could achieve what they have done in their lives.

I am really inspired by what the first two individuals have achieved at the physical level. To be performing at their age - It Is Just Amazing!

The views as expressed by Osho about Being Discontent resonated strongly with my inner world when I first read this article. In that moment, I realized that my life has been one of Discontent at the core level, but somehow I could not figure out why? In that moment, I understood the reason for my being on earth this time around was to figure out how Mr. Fauja Singh and Mr. Hidekichi Miyazaki have been able to achieve what they have. There are others, I am sure, who have not been written about.

Mr. Fauja Singh gives total credit for his success to the Almighty and therefore, unfortunately can not teach others how he has been able to do what he has done in his life. Being not so blessed, I sure would like to figure it out for myself. This is what my life has been about, especially over the last two decades at least. I think I have largely understood how this can be achieved. The game of Golf is my medium of self-expression. I really do not know whether I have chosen the game or the game has chosen me. It was suddenly there in my life in January 2013. More about it in the next post.

To be able to achieve something similar at the age of 100+ would be something really awesome. Till then I will be Discontent.

And so it is.

On Not Being a Fossil

The widely understood and accepted mode of ‘creating’ something new is to begin from what you Have (from the past), take some Actions (in the present) in order to ‘Create’ something or Become someone (in the future).

This apparently is the logical way of being i.e. living a life that moves forward from the past towards the future. But is it a really satisfying and fulfilling way of being and more important, is this the only way to be?

What if we were meant to live the present moments from a Future already Created? Sounds crazy, right? Believe me, it is not. It sounds absurd because it is totally counter-intuitive. But this way of being is really worth experimenting, I wish to add.

Living a Life from the Future is the essence of the technology that is being ‘shared’ by Landmark Worldwide (formerly known as Landmark Education). I have deliberately used the word ‘shared’ as the word teaching does not somehow seem to be appropriate.

I am sure we have all had glimpses of the future based living, on a few occasions in life at least, if not more. When I now look back at my own experiences, I realize that the days and weeks when I was living from the future were really exciting and amazing. I was just not aware that I was living my present moments from a future already created. I therefore did not have an access to this technology and was unable to replicate it in my everyday existence. (My experiences appear a little further down.)

What I have discovered over the past about 15 months of being associated with Landmark Worldwide is that Living from the Future is the rational and logical way of being. I will even go to the extent of saying that this is THE way of being for the ones desirous of living moment to moment in every moment.

I am also of the firm belief that this was the original way of being for us human beings but seem to have lost in the process of evolution.

This is what a past based life looks like:

To Be or Not To Be - A Fossil?

This article in The Times of India caught my eye when I opened the paper today morning:

The language and the words were pretty familiar.

In Crimson Circle, the word used is 'Potentials' as in 'of the future'.

In Landmark Worldwide, the word used is 'Possibilities'.

Interesting stuff. Is Sadhaguru Jaggi Vasudevji a Landmark Graduate too?? Maybe and maybe not. But then that's another thing.

* * * *
I was feeling rather lethargic and dull when I woke up today. (Long day yesterday, late night.) Definitely not in the frame of mind to do my morning routine of workout - something that I have committed to recently under a much larger game in Life.

In the normal course, I would have skipped the workout routine today. But reading this article made me realize that I would be becoming a Fossil by letting my past takeover. I would be caught in the all too familiar repetitive cycle of not-working-out-after-a-long-hard-day-yesterday.

I immediately created the Possibility of Taking Actions as in 'Doing my Workout Today' and 'Not being a Fossil' today.

This possibility was created in the mind, of course. A few minutes later as I was lazing around, I noticed that I had started breathing deep spontaneously. But through the mouth and not the nose.

I allowed the breathing to be and after a few minutes, I was fully energized and in the now. In the few moments that followed, I had made the transition from Playing the Game in the Playground of the Mind to Playing the Game in The Physical Reality.

The workout happened and the tiredness and fatigue that was the reality a little while ago had totally transformed.I was fresh and full of Life. The experience of being Alive had transformed.

A small victory over the past way of being but a pretty significant one, nonetheless.

And so it is.

In the middle of a Major Breakdown

Most humans generally go through life without even being aware about the consciousness that is guiding it. They therefore are not able to go into the realms of Transforming the Core Consciousness at all. Transformation, if at all, generally occurs more by accident rather than design. We 'invite' trauma to trigger the change because more often than not, it is the time spent alone immediately after a major incident that starts the process of change.

To be able to therefore, not only be aware of the Core Consciousness but also to witness the process of transformation unfolding is indeed a beautiful experience - one that I am going through in the moment.

I am blessed in the sense that I did not need a major trauma to go through a shift or maybe I did but that's another story. I attracted a simple throat infection that needed antibiotics (after a long, long time) to ensure that I stayed in a bed in a somewhat quarantine state in order to go through a powerful process.

Judging by my actions especially over the last twenty years or so, people close to me would label my life as one being largely spiritual. Not that I did not have any use for wealth but that is something that has been eluding me somehow in spite of all the best laid plans and efforts. My relation with wealth and things material has largely been one of 'having just enough'.

As the needs were being taken care of in ways that were often rather mysterious, I gave up on even trying to create abundance a few years ago. I accepted maybe in a negative kind of way that my life this time around was going to be one that is largely spiritual rather than material.

I admit that I have not been fully content with the life that I have been living. At peace most of the time in recent years; yes, but there have been desires that are unfulfilled: things to do, places to see. Like most spiritual seekers, I have largely been stuck

This is apparently changing.

I am in the middle of a major breakdown that is helping transform my core consciousness from one being largely Spiritual to one that is Material as well.

This shift has been preceded by certain events that have been unfolding since about June of last year. I have not shared anything in this space because the desire to do so was just not there. That is till now...

Healing vs. Acceptance - Bringing it All Together

After the previous posts went online, my attention was drawn to the fact that certain religious rituals/ceremonies are known to help reduce/change the negative created in life because of the planetary positions at the time of birth, karma, bad luck etc. The question that was raised was, 'What about this method of healing those issues in life which are basically not acceptable?'

I am not denying that positive results do not manifest through religious ceremonies, rituals etc...
.. but this does not happen in each and every case.

I am talking here about the ones who are staunch believers and have absolute faith in the religions and the ceremonies, prayers etc.

Who do they turn to when the results do not manifest? Obviously there are no known solutions - yet. We, as a human race, have a lot to learn about life and about being Creators in the true sense of the word.

I think that the present times that we live in are just about right for a major shift to take place in how we tackle these 'problems' in life. This is what I am taking up in this post.

Healing vs. Acceptance - The Soul Aspect

Learning how energy moved behind all situations - good as well as bad - felt wonderful because I felt that I finally held the key that will help unlock all the doors that were still closed in life and I will be able to become the Master of my own Destiny.

For all that I would now need to do was move the neutral aspect from the Dark to Light in all the situations that were non-acceptable in life. I had faith and confidence in my abilities as an energy moving healer and thought that this will help me create all that I wanted. I started dreaming about abundance, perfect body, perfect state of health, perfect relationships and so on.

But much to my chagrin, the moment I started applying 'force' through Reiki (along with the appropriate intentions) for 'fixing' my issues of abundance and weight, the situations actually became worse. Money stopped flowing in altogether while the weight shot up dramatically. (That was in 2006, the evidence for which has already been posted here in this blog.)

I remember that it was around that time that my attention was drawn to the Soul aspect of human beings. I started giving serious thought to what exactly the phrase 'Harmony at the level of Body, Mind and Soul' meant.

I intuitively knew that it was this 'Soul aspect' that now needed to be understood.

In this post, I am sharing what came next into my life i.e. the knowledge of  how we invite both the good as well as the bad experiences in  life. This knowledge then helped me move into a space where I stopped applying 'force' to bring the desired changes. Because it was then that I learnt about the value of "Accepting All Things As They Are".

Healing vs. Acceptance – The Energy Dynamics behind any Healing Process

In this post, I wish to share my understanding of the energy movements during any healing process, be it conventional or non-conventional. This will come in handy when we discuss the issue of Acceptance.

But before that, the belief systems of Karma/Fate/Destiny and that of Duality need to be examined here.

Healing vs. Acceptance

How can healing and ‘being in acceptance’ go together? I am unable to understand the connection between them. I feel that the term ‘healing’ is used when we want to change something which is uncomfortable at present and is therefore not acceptable.

On the other hand we also use the phrase ‘balancing of energies at all levels - physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, karmic etc.’ when we are not sure of the cause of the problem. Please explain how 'balancing' works automatically when we are in acceptance of things. In that case do we need any additional healing method?

The above were asked in an email and this post is the result.

Manifesting the Negative (continued)

The responses received to the earlier post helped generate this post. I have reproduced the relevant extracts from the emails that were received along with my comments. This will hopefully help you to start trusting the guidance coming from the God within just a wee bit more.

Manifesting the Negative

A question was asked recently by a seeker, “Why do things/situations that I do not want manifest easily while the ones I want desperately, do not?” She was talking of the common issues of abundance, problems with household help, weight issues, health issues and a couple of other things in life.

A similar issue was raised by another seeker who was contemplating quitting his job because of problems at work place.

Tips for Healers

I do not know about the journey of others but there were several situations in my personal life that I knew could change with a bit of healing but somehow:
Either I was unable to kick start the healing process or the desired results did not manifest and at times the situation actually became worse whenever I could do a bit of healing.
Mind you this was not for all the situations in my life but a few which were personally very close to me. This, as anyone can imagine, was a bit frustrating and did create plenty of doubts, not to mention a great deal of turmoil and heartburn. The ego took a huge beating and I sure was a desperate Reiki Grandmaster searching for resolution and peace within. It was about then that the knowledge (that I am sharing in these posts) started coming my way and turned things around in my life.

Lessons from the Life of Steve Jobs

All human beings who have made it big in spite of all the hardships in their lives have stories somewhat similar to the ones shared by Steve Jobs in his now famous Commencement Speech.

For those who might not have had the opportunity to hear/read it, I have reproduced this below with all due regards to late Mr. Jobs.

This is what he said:

Treat Your Chronic Ailment As A Dear Friend!

Considering that human lives are at stake, it is natural for us laypersons to assume that all possible variables that can contribute to a disease have been taken into account in the ongoing process of medical research. But is that really true?

Energy Perspective - Symptoms of Detoxification (and not Diabetes)

I have experienced my share of the commonly known symptoms associated with Diabetes. I have also been able to successfully as well as effortlessly deal with the ones that were rather severe to start with. This experience without resorting to medications has no doubt helped me understand as to what really happens inside the body energetically.

I wish to share my perspective regarding the following common symptoms:

Vintage Cars Give Mileage of 25 kmpl!

What will be the reaction if a news item was to appear in a leading daily claiming that all cars including the Vintage brands and the Ambassadors,  Fiats, Marutis, Skodas, Audis and Mercedes Benzs have now started giving an average of 25 kilometers per liter of petrol.

"This is impossible" will be the immediate reaction, and rightly so.

Yet, we have allowed ourselves to be brainwashed into believing that EACH and EVERY human is able to extract equal energy from the same amount of food irrespective of his/her age, state of health, mental, emotional and spiritual dispositions.

Yes, food is a source of energy but everyone cannot extract equal amounts of energy from the same amount of nutrients that are consumed. A sportsperson, for example, can get much more from a banana than one who is bedridden. So why do we try and force-feed people who are sick?

Different makes and models of cars give different mileage, so too is the case when it comes to humans and food.

I have given this a lot of thought and the logic makes sense to me. Does it to you too?

Think about it.

Blood Sugar Levels Controlled Rather Easily

A bit of tweaking my food and a slight change of lifestyle has brought the blood sugar levels down from the previously recorded highs to what are considered to be relatively safe zones. I don’t really know at this point whether anyone else can also duplicate these results. At the same time, I see no reason why someone can not. In any case, this is what has happened with me over the last month or so…

Is High Blood Sugar Good or Bad? - III

Diet control, yoga, pranayama, regular workouts to sweat out the extra calories etc. are great techniques for keeping the excess weight off but do require persistent efforts. The downside is that results attained after months of efforts can come undone within a few days. Till around 2005, this was my story too. But things started changing when I started implementing some basic laws of nature that I had learnt along the way. My struggles ended as I started losing weight effortlessly. Not only that, the weight loss is more or less permanent. The changes that are visible in the photographs below bear testimony:

Detoxification Expanded, World Cup 2011 and more

Mrs. Ranjani Mitra left a new comment on the revised post "Chapter 2. Detoxification":

Very clear expansion of the concept of detoxification. Thank you Sir for the layers which you have added to this article.

I started off writing a shorter reply but that expanded to this new post. The intention is to help those readers who may have learnt Reiki, Crystals etc. but are struggling in terms of not being able to either practice these wonderful therapies or are not able to get results that really matter in their personal lives. I think that this knowledge can also help the ones who are unable to go for a morning walk, do pranayama, yoga etc. even though they want to.

Leap of Faith

Madhukarji commented (in response to a previous  post): I believe you need a lot of trust and faith in yourself and in your body to let it heal itself or find the balance on its own. We all have been too conditioned to trust the others "specialists" who tell us what is good for us and what is not.

I think we can apply this to situations, relationships as well.

Thanks for the insight, have just added another goal to achieve.

I feel that a short response would have got lost in the Comments portion, ergo this post...
